A quickie, just for you....

A blogger friend over at Armored City has provided the start to this post. I'll use 'Rab' in place of his given name. He posted a few days ago, a poem that I found absolutely honest. He is an artist and who knew he also is capable of meaningful poetry.

You were pretty quiet all weekend long
and the moments that we had alone,
to speak, were the very moments that
the crowds appeared

There have been so many words;
Why now so few?
Did I disappoint you?

I put so much store in this, no matter
how I resisted–I guess I have a lot of grain
that doesn't have a silo–

magnetic kernels that thought
they sensed a pole in you;

these small almonds
that grows towards beauty
like the shape and color of your eyes

Everyone should check this guy out. Ahem, give a look-see at his blog that is. I really enjoy it, when he posts that is. He has like a career and such so I guess that makes for not posting so often. Haha.

So, I have recently tried my hardest to make a fool of myself via blog postings. Well, maybe not as much as I could have but, see here, for the latest installment of "feelings" lol

After an AIM conversation and some phone time a day ago, he and I are officially "whatever" I know, right? I think it's cute. I don't want to push things because that would be the exact wrong thing to do. We both are attracted to each other emotionally and physically, though I would say my feelings are a bit stronger-maybe?- than his. I'll stop trying to describe us before I get to far into "not making any sense". It does feel good however to get things out there. Even if his response to "i like you" was "well that was pretty obvious" ;)

To finish up this "quickie", I spoke with Auntie M yesterday afternoon. She is one for good conversation and insight. Though her life hasn't been the "norm" I really think her views on life and relationships with people are uniquely amazing.

I don't have the time to get into what we spoke on, but to say it was uplifting and motivating. I also might take advantage of her boyfriends apartment in Michigan that is free most of the time. Just to take a week or so and GTFO of town. I think that would be nice.

Listening to the Twilight soundtrack, P!NK's Funhouse album, and right this second, showbread's mouth like a magazine
