Bitches

Dear adam, i love you and have recklessly given myself to you. However you can't say the things you say [unintended rhyme] & have it both ways. We'll talk later, right now I'm going to go cry then have margaritas with the girls. I still care about you and will wait for you the next little while. Miss you lots mister, -E

UGH

I've been in the mood to write lately but my HDTV (adhd) has gotten the best of me.

Bullet points for now.

* Working at Starbucks Coffee now. Awesome job, and health care coverage to boot. Not bad.

*Got to see the boy for a few hours while on a family trip to NC.

*Will be seeing him at the end of August. Visiting him at school.... not sure how he'll explain his "friend" who sleeps over to his roommates. Come out and get it over with perhaps? :-P

*Possibly taking a class or two this fall. Need to get back in the school mindset, even if only for a few credit hours.

*Getting a haircut soon...... lol

*Planning on being in NC by December/January. :)
I know, right? Not moving in or anything just, well, dating from two hours away will be helluva lot easier than 6.

An actual update to come, soon hopefully.

Much love,
-E

P.S.
Hilarious picture of Adam and his cousin. Cute, right? ;)

Where to begin

I started with a look back at a few previous published and unpublished blogs I have written. they were very interesting.

I guess in the pursuit of brevity, bullet points are best. But without the actual points because I am not a fan.

!) So I was on Oprah :)....with about 400 other people. We had ridden from Florida, California, New york, Georgia, Alabama, Mexico, Canada, Australia (yes....2 or 3 from down under) and assembeled in Chicago IL. The event: The Rescue of Joseph Koney's Child Soldiers. This topic deserves it's own post so for now I will direct you to a friend's blog who wrote a synopsis of the happenings. Also, watch the video in the previous post. It was epic. :)

@)Just a quick pet peeve (more of a rant), not really an update. A friend of mine on facebook has been with his boyfriend for over a year and they just moved into their second place together as a couple. Yet, still on facebook, he is listed as single, and to the best of my knowlege not out to his parents. Seriously? I myself won't be out until the end of the summer (Out, reads: Not throwing a big party, just letting people know through an "organic" process.) But after over a year and having now had two places together why would someone still be listed as "single" and not be out to their parents? I just don't get it.

#) My (maternal) Grandpa passed away. He was 83, the son of Danish immigrants, had been married for just over 59 years, had 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. (with the fifth born just a day ago) I was so happy that after the Chicago Rescue -and because my volvo died while on the Pennsylvania turnpike (long story)- I was able to take a train out to see and stay with him and my Grandma for about a week. The time spent with the 6'3" giant of a man watching 'Cheaters' and talking about "sushi...that stuff 'll kill ya" I will forever cherrish.
He was just a normal, average guy in this world. However, to me- he was irreplaceable. :)

*Just a tangent to the previous paragraph, and in all seriousness: make sure your parents have a will and if possible- life insurance. No matter what age. It will make things a lot easier.

I think that's' all for now.

Part two might include:
--My trip to see the MR.
--New Music
--The randomness that is ME :P

For now,
-E

Sorry for the absence

Have been doing a lot lately. Will try and catch up soon.
Some reading in the meantime:

Neat article I found over @ Some Guys Are Normal

Oh and I was on Oprah a few Fridays ago. Granted I was in a crowd of 400+ and in the back right corner but hey...I was there. This will also explain the previous five or six posts :)
